STMicroelectronics and Qualcomm Launched New ST67W611 IoT Module

STMicroelectronics, together with Qualcomm Technologies, is introduced advanced ST67W611M1 IoT module, which integrate Qualcomm’s QCC743 multiprotocol connectivity system-on-chip (SoC) with ST’s versatile STM32 microcontroller ecosystem. Designed for a wide range of IoT applications, including smart homes, industrial sensors, and wearables.

The ST67W611M1 IoT module is made for seamless integration with STM32 microcontrollers (both MCU and MPU), pre-loaded with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and Thread. The module will support the Matter protocol over Wi-Fi, enabling the STM32 portfolio to be easily accessed by the Matter ecosystem. Moreover, for effective system integration, the module contains 4 MB of flash for code and data storage and a 40 MHz crystal, along with a micro RF (uFL) connector for an external antenna or an integrated PCB antenna.

The ST67W611M1 includes advanced security features such as secure boot and cryptographic accelerators, meeting PSA Certified Level 1 protection standards. Additionally, these are pre-certified and ready to use, simplifying product development and making it time-saving for the users. Developers can leverage the STM32 ecosystem’s extensive tools and AI enhancements to create innovative IoT solutions efficiently. Developers can test the samples, and they will be on the market in early 2025.
