Proxgy, a Gurgaon-based company has introduced two innovative products - Hat+ Band and ProHat Band that convert regular industrial helmets into air-conditioned and smart helmets. These products are designed to enhance workplace safety and comfort for industrial workers, particularly those working in harsh conditions. Backed by prominent investors such as Ajinkya Rahane, Nikhil Kamath and Suniel Shetty, Proxgy’s latest offerings address key challenges faced by workers in industries like mining, construction and manufacturing. These industries often expose workers to extreme heat and communication difficulties, affecting productivity and safety.
The Hat+ Band offers a practical solution for workers dealing with high temperatures. It converts standard helmets into air-conditioned protective gear, providing relief in environments like tunnels, mines, factories and construction sites. The lightweight device is easy to attach and operates on a battery that lasts 8-10 hours, ensuring consistent cooling throughout long shifts. This helps workers stay focused and perform better without the distraction of extreme heat.
The ProHat Band focuses on improving connectivity and safety in workplaces. It transforms ordinary helmets into smart helmets with features like audio and video conferencing, 4G and BLE connectivity and AI-powered hazard detection. These features enable real-time communication and environmental awareness, essential for industries where precision and safety are important. The ProHat Band enhances collaboration and helps workers stay aware of potential risks, boosting overall efficiency. Priced below INR 9990, both products are accessible to businesses and workers. Unlike traditional AC helmets, which are often expensive and not reusable, these bands can be easily shared across shifts, making them a cost-effective option.
Proxgy’s Founder and CEO, Pulkit Ahuja, shared that the idea for these Made in India products came from feedback collected during market surveys. Workers highlighted that existing AC helmets were unaffordable and rarely provided by employers. Proxgy developed these solutions to address real challenges faced by the industrial workforce. Pre-orders for the Hat+ Band and ProHat Band are now open, with deliveries starting next month. Proxgy’s new products reflect its mission to improve the lives of industrial workers by bridging technological gaps in the sector.
