Are any members aware of a readily available circuit utilyzing radar capable of detecting an obstruction within 8-20 meters in front of the radar transducer? The product or circuit needed will operate from 12 VDC and is similar to the vehicle front mounted collision preventive measures becoming more common in vehicles.
Thanks for your response. Will review the RCWL-0516 for adaptability. Also, wondering about a Lidar unit?
Lidar is good but effective only if high quality proper sensor is used. Costly alternative.

RCWL-0516 is possibly a good RF Radar module. However, not sure about the range.
