Who has used Raspberries for a Smart home system?
I use my pi4 as a server and connect it to things like an ESP32 which is basically a 32 bit arduino with wifi. Look up raspberry pi home assistant.

I have used a long ago. Maybe pi 2. Dumped the idea. Couldn't afford small smart home project with a bulky , costly,. Powerful processor based board. Makes no sense. It is really useful only if the application is such bigger and demands such processing power.
